If a desktop computer has one volume output jack is it possible to still have two sets of speakers? I assume that there is some sort of spliter switch. The goal is to have the normal desktop speakers for everyday use, but also to run an out cable to the stereo so that iTunes can play through the stereo. I know that this can be done wirelessly with Airport express, but I don't want to replace a non-broken modem with Airport Express. Thanks.

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Radio Shack has a Y splitter that should do what you want
In the beginning there was the command line.
