Hi I am new to this sort of thing so please excuse me if I get anything wrong. I have a problem I am hoping someone out there may be able to help me with. I recently had a power cut in the area where I live, which we were aware was going to happen but they cut off the supply 10mins befor they had advised, and my computer was still on [on sttandby]. When power was restored everything was ok {Ithought} but since then I can no longer do any searches, [especially in Outlook] It comes up with NO MATCHES FOUND. Is there any way I can restore the search function. I am using Windows Vista home premium edition. Please help as it is getting very frustrating.

You can try this ... it may take a while to re-index
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click System And Maintenance.
3. Click Indexing Options.
4. Click the Advanced buttons, and respond to the User Account Control prompt.
5. On the Advanced Options dialog, click Rebuild. Then, click OK.
