When I do a search on google, the links do a jump/redirect and it opens a different page

I have no idea how to fix this

Edit: Moved topic to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Hello and welcome to BC, cerebelumed (great name - LOL)!

I have my Google preferences set and saved, including the option to have links open in new windows. Could that be what's happening to you? Or do you always end up at a specific site, as garmanma suggested?
