Vista Woes.. Bccode 24. sudden BSOD after a year

hey guys i need some help.. i dont know whats wrong with my computer.. my system was running rock stable since i built it.. but all of a sudden i started getting a crazy BSOD code 24 and i cant stop it.. i dont know what caused it.. but if i could get some tech support from someone it would be much appreciated.. heres some info



Vista ultimate 64

M2n-32SLI Deluxe

amd 5000+ Black

This error code is related to the NTFS file system - so the first step would be to run chkdsk /f /r To do this, go to Start and type in "run" (without the quotes) and press Enter. In the text field (of the window that opens) type "chkdsk /f /r" (without the quotes) and press Enter. It'll ask you if you want to do this at the next reboot - type in "Y" (without the quotes) and press Enter - then reboot and let it do it's thing.

If this doesn't fix the error, then I'd suggest running a diagnostic utility from the manufacturer of your hard drive (usually free).
