mellow.gif Where can I get a Vista Recovery DVD for a Toshiba Satellite Laptop? I need to reinstall Vista Home Edition on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop, model A135-S2346. The laptop owner lost all the disks that he had and the only thing we have is the keycode sticker attached to the unit. The hard drive was erased because he wanted to install Windows XP. This laptop came with only 512 DDR Ram of memory, and as you may know, that is not good enough for Vista. It was running as slow as molasses. The problem we encountered is that for that model there are no Windows XP drivers. We need to reinstall Vista, but we are looking for a recovery disk, or maybe a copy of the Windows DVD. We are not trying to do anything illegal, we have the authentic, legitimate key code attached to the unit. Can anyone help? Thanks! rameystarman smile.gif

Here is a link to the Toshiba Customer Service site where you can find information to obtain the Vista Recovery DVD.

A Google Search seems to indicate this is a PSAD6U model with Vista Home Basic. Here is the cheapest site I could find for that restore disk.
