After using Kaspersky I have noticed there is a windows security icon down on bottom right of screen. If i double click this it says security centre is tunred off. When i click turn on now, it says security centre service can not be started.

I have tried starting it through the service control panel but i get an error message saying windows could not start the security service on local computer, error 1079, the account specifued for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process

When trying to through services in "administrative tools" it says "Configuration manager - the specified device instance handle does not correspond to a preset device".

I have also tried doing a system restore but it does not take me back far enough to go prior using Kaspersky.

Does anyone have any suggestions to try and resolve this please?

Thanks
