I let a friend on my PC and had him remove CoD4 to do a re-install, was having problems. Forgot that he didn't know much, and he simply deleted the program folder, icons, and a few other things.

Now when I go to install the CD, it doesn't give me an install option, only an un-install option. When I try that, it simply closes.

I've went in with reg-edit, and deleted everything I could think of CoD related, and there is still no install option when i put in my CoD4 CD. I used their tech support, but they did nothing for me. I just want to be able to play my game again.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks in advance guys.

What if you go to control panel, and go to add/remove programs (for windows xp) or programs and features (for windows vista) and try uninstalling it from there.

When you run the cd, close the dialog box and go to explore, navigate to the cd and double click on the .exe setup icon.
