and if this works, would the service provider detect this considering i only have one ip address provided to me. i kno' i can get a router to do all this, but this is just out of curiousity. |

They would detect both modems as they have to be activated.

do they activate this communicating through the system or does a tech. have to physically install this and activate it themselves?
