Win 98se Users ;program Test Request

I am told that http://us.mcafee.com/root/product.asp?productid=sa this version of site adviser will work on win 98se; however, on downloading it and pressing the exe it tells me it is NOT ???? :thumbsup:

Try redownloading it to the Desktop and run it in safemode

why might safe mode for installation 'improve' my chances of success? :thumbsup:

should it not accept it in normal mode?

There could be things running in the backround not permitting it to load. I remember with 98 it was usually recommended to turn off your anti-virus when installing programs
