BleepingComputer.com: Tried To Uninstall Pc-cillin

So this came with my dell and I assume it to be trash like all programs that come preinstalled on laptops. So I got my own anti virus (AGV), and tried to uninstall PC-cillin. It didnt seem to like that. I got through most of the uninstalling and then the process froze and wouldnt move for 10 minutes or so, so I forced it to end the program. Then i tried to shut down and start it up again, but it wouldnt respond to the shut down command, so I forced it to shut down. Now when I look through add/remove programs (or whatever it's called on vista) it shows PC-cillin as quite present (104MB of space, which is less than it took up before) but when I try to uninstall it, it says "this action can only be used for programs that are currently installed"

You may have to reinstall it, then remove while in "Safe Mode".

Please note, that if you already have AVG installed, then you may have a problem reinstalling Pc-cillin. If that happens you may have to uninstall AVG as well to do this, then reinstall it after the other anti-virus has been removed.
