Windows Media Player Won't Run!

Hey guys, I need some help with this. I have Windows Media Player 11, and when I try to play a certain audio or video file, it won't open up! When I try to open Windows Media Player without a file, it still won't open! Please help. I know you guys are busy, so take your time.

Uninstall Media Player 11. You'll automatically be rolled back to version 10.
Reboot your computer, then reinstall WMP 11.
Or just stick with v. 10-your choice.
