I want to insert an image in one of my posts on this forum. The image is on my harddrive and I don't know which steps I should take to place it in my post. Any tips? |

Hello surgirl. Follow these instructions.
You need to upload your images to a Photo Hosting Site. A good one is Photobucket Go to Photo Bucket Sign up, log-in, click on the browse button. Find your image and then click submit. You will then see your pic uploaded Three links will show. Copy the IMG link And then paste it in the reply box. -------------------- ![]() |

BTW If you have a large image that you wish to place in a post. You should copy and paste the URL tag instaed of the IMG tag. For instance like the link below. Although it is not a large image. I am using it as an example. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/sca...isebirthday.jpg This method will save on bandwidth and also cut down on the downloading of a large image. Those on dialup have a long wait when a large image is downloading. I should of mentioned this in the first place.
