Whenever I scan with the online Avast Virus Cleaner, it says most files couldn't be scanned. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Click Start >> Control Panel >> User Accounts

Look for your user name, it will say either " computer administrator" or "Limited account"

If you are running as administrator, how many files is Avast unable to scan ?

If you are running as Limited account, you should run Avast as administrator
