I'm about to jump into the Vista fray. I have a licensed copy of Office 2003. Will it run on Vista? Thanks, Nan

I second this, I installed Office onto a laptop weeks ago and there are no issues.

Just make sure you uninstall a trial version that your computer may have, some brand PC's will have the trial version. Having both 2007 and 2003 will hog your computer really bad.

Thanks so much fellas, and gals! I am quite lost in the Vista arena. The first thing I need is a virus program. I have a big choice. I own NOD32, and Panda VirusScan+Spyware, and of course I have AVG on this old 2000 clunk. I am wondering whether AVG or Avast will suffice. I must put something on it soon. It just came today, and after fighting with a KVM switch all day to use my old XP alongside, my back hurts and my head aches. I looked at the store for a Vista manual and they laughed at me...big joke! I also have never burned a DVD and I will need to quite soon. Wish me luck! Nan

Usasma, Never got the KVM to work. At all. Don't know if I can really blame Vista. So I have an A/B video switch on the way. All I needed to share was the video. Hopefully that will work out better. N
