Well solaris is considered a Linux distro. I didn't think so when i first saw it, but i have read that online.
I don't believe there is a free OS other than linux distros because well 1 i don't know of really any other than Linux, Mac, and Windows and 2 Linux is open source, so i believe any other free OS would also have to be open source (making another linux distro) -------------------- Website: http://web.ruibranco.com/~lhamil64

Actually, Solaris and Linux are derived from Unix, as is BSD.
There are quite a few others; Jnode, Haiku, Inferno, Minix, etc. -------------------- |
