If I leave the computer in the sleep mode for over half an hour, when I light it back up, the cursur is invisible. I can tell where it's at because of the highlited things in the window when I drag it over them. I have un-installed and re-installed the touch-pad and Logitech optical mouse, reset the BIOS to no avail. HELP!!!! HP gave up!!

I would suggest updating your video drivers to the latest available version from the manufacturer of your video chipset (NOT from HP). Let us know the exact make and model of your PC and we can point you to the drivers.

I am using an HP Pavilion dv9210us Notebook PC. I have Home Premium Vista. Thanks!

Presuming that you're using the 32 bit version of Vista - here's the link to the downloads page at HP (you should get the nVidia VGA driver): http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...201&lang=en
