Thanks for the information so this is a big upgrade for what I have right now? Also would it be smart to get yet another 2 gigs of ram? I already have 2gigs. Also are those items on sale or are they always that price so I know if I have to buy them now or not.

You current P4 system more than likely uses DDR ram so its not compatible with the new Motherboard wich uses DDR2. The Items I reccomended are just a quick look at whats available use them as a jumping off point. Those parts would be A dramatic upgrade to what you have now. It list a dual core processor, faster memory and a faster front side bus speed. The graphics card you have now is that PCI-E? Also how big is your power supply?

How can I find out how big my Power Supply is? I dont have the box anymore for it so I cant look on their. I almost wanna say its 800 but im not sure and that is probably not right.

determining what you have and what can be reused and what can not, if you're using a brand name system, 9 times out of 10 you can reuse it.
also if you have a system that uses DDR or RDRAM you can not reuse them. if you use a AGP card, you can not reuse it. so let's find out 1st if you are using a name brand PC, and what it's model is, first. -------------------- Care to help give hope to someone, then click on Basset Rescue of Montana.
