Well, I have to ask what were you cleaning and what did you delete? Did you use any special programs such as a registry cleaner?
Did you just delete some items and are they still in the recycle bin?

Exactly what the guy did I don know but what I can tell is next:
When the pc is started all seem s ok, then win log normal but when it continues loading suddenly appears a msg

userinit.exe incorrect image
-------------
the application or Dll C:\windows\system32\winspool.drv is not a valid image of windows. Check the installation disk.
-------------

It seems that the desktop will be on view but what i see is the black screen and in the
4 corners read safe mode and after this nothing more is on view.

When i enter on safe mode I choose last good configuartion but all is the same.
When I select ctrl+alt+del the security windows with option
equip blocked close session turn off
change password ....... ......

the equip blocked is the one selected, is it probably that the guy blocked the pc if so how can I unblock it or how can avoid the msg above shown.

If you are trying to bypass security measures, I cannot help you. There is a hotfix for the problem you describe but you must contact Microsoft directly

Thanks Mark, anyway i dont know if the pc is blocked means that the desktop is not in view and the screen is black or blocked means that the pc does not respond at all, may you clarify it?

Rereading the posts, other than trying the hotfix, I think your best bet would be to do a repair install. Do you have the windows disk?

If you are going to reinstall the OS you will need to format the hdd first.

You need to enter the BIOS and set the boot order to boot to the CD drive. Then insert your disk and follow directions

Hi mloo55.

Hope you don't mind me budging in, but it seems you are suck mate.

First thing is. Have you got any picture on screen. Does you pc post, would be the technical term for it. Can you enter bios?
Usually you need to press del on bootup.
If you can you need to set the primary boot device to cd/dvd-rom.
Insert the windows cd while you are inside bios.
Exit and save the bios configuration (F10).
Look for the commands on the bios screen, they may not be excactly what I suggest.
When you windows cd boots, read carefully on screen and follow the steps.
Do a slow format of the drive in NTFS if you can or FAT32, not a fast format.

Nightspydk

Thanks for you reply but it became a mess because I can not find a solution. I can not enter into the Bios as I mentioned all what I got is the dark screen displaying safe mode in the 4 corners and that is all. I can not go on at all.
