If you have a player that can read actual mp3s then yes, you can just backup your mp3s to a dvd and play it off of there

i'm making the MP3 DVD but it takes so long.
it took me 2 days to get enough songs to fill it up. now it just took 7 hours to convert the songs (they are already in MP3 format) but its doing a convert thingy. probably take another couple of hours to burn it to disc. |
