I have Quicktime + iTunes on my PC (Vista). But either if I watch QuickTime movies on the web or just play a quicktime file from my computer they don't have sound. I've tried reinstalling quicktime but it doesn't work.

Sorry to hear about that, how about trying Quicktime Alternative, should work OK with Vista (but I haven't tested it as I don't have Vista!).
If all else fails, hit the reset button.
