Re-installing Video Driver

windows xp pro , intel core 2 cpu , intel GMA 3000. I have been having a problem with my screen shrinking into the task bar when im gaming in full screen mode . I was told that re-instlling my video card might help, the only problem is Ive never done it and dont even know where to begin. Can anybody give me a hand . THANX

well, do you know what make and model of video card you are using?
what do you mean the screen is shrinking into the taskbar exactly?

wubzy, would you please tell us what the make and model of your computer is, and if is a custom build the make and model of the motherboard, the amount of RAM, and the make and model of the PSU.

You mean like an ALT-TAB command.
I would try run with a minimum amount of background processes before I even consider a hardware relevans.
If any at all, only a keyboard or mouse problem springs to mind.
I haven't heard of a driver problem ever of that nature.
Disconnet internet/Stop mail-client,ftp,bittorent whatever.
Close down av,firewall everything you don't need.
Trial-by-error.
Maybe a sevice could cause this kind of erratic behaviour?
