Ok, ive been having a problem with this laptops back lighting going out. I bought a new screen, it didnt fix the problem. I tested the screen in another laptop, works fine. I guessed, hey, probably the inverter. I buy a new inverter, still doesnt fix it. Everythings grounding, everythings connected, video, but no light. Help guys.

The wiring could be pinched or broke and the insulation still be intact so you don't notice it. It's a pretty small gauge

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

The only way i would think this possible is if the ground wiring was pinched or frayed(doesnt appear to be) because the video still shows up with perfect clarity in the screen, just no light.

The ground doesnt look pinched/frayed/broke at all, so could it be motherboard?

Sounds plausible but in a way it doesnt. If i hook it up to a moniter i get a good signal and good video, should that still work or not?

hmm, then it's bad cabling or the screen itself is shot.
