If you are running windows ME or 98 I would leave the RAM as is. If you are running XP I would go to www.crucial.com and buy another 128 meg. The best thing you could do is upgrade the video card to either 32 meg or 64 meg. You can get one of these cards at a real economical price now.

You will get most "bang for the buck" by purchasing additonal RAM; for most general purposes such as surfing the NET, some word processing, etc., you will see the most improvement in speed by using more RAM.
