Hello People.

Some time ago I tried putting a Radeon AIW8500 on an Asus P5A motherboard.
That resultedin frequent crashes under Win2K.

I asked on usenet but could not solve the problem.
The thread is here. It has all the information about the hardware and software configuration of the machine, plus (failed) attempts to solve the problem.

Since then, I replaced the power supply but it did not help any.

Now, as I discovered this forum, I'd like to reopen the question.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex.

Have you tried using the computer with your case open and seeing if it does not crash? Could be a heat problem
