RealAlternative, please. I've had the usual problems with RealPlayer, cursed it thoroughly, uninstalled it - and Rhapsody too, which I gather is another from the same stable - and installed RealAlternative. And for video - for all that I do, which is clips from one site, it works just fine. But plainly I could use it for music as well, and I can't for the life of me work out how to make it do anything useful. Now instead of Zone Alarm having puppies because RealPlayer was trying to call home every ten minutes, WinPatrol is having puppies because Windows Media Player and RA are squabbling over who gets to play MP3 clips. Obviously I've got something set up wrong, and I can't work out how to make it save playlists, or do anything constructive with favourites. An hour with that and I feel really stupid.

I'd like to see a help file for how to recover files that have been deleted from your system using Recycle bin (that are no longer in your recycle bin) and / or one that shows how to recover files that were deleted that never even went into your recycle bin and just disappeared.
I have a habit of losing/deleting needed files! scratchhead.gif Then I don't know how to get them back! (I mostly lose documents and music files and the like)
So if someone could write a help file like that it'd be very very much appreciated here!

An Acronis tutorial. (I searched to see if one had been written ---- maybe I overlooked it. If so --- would someone let me know where to find it?)

Thanks! smile.gif

Thank you --- thank you! thumbup.gif Your first two suggestions (which I didn't know about)... appear to be what may guide me through this. The Acronis User Guide is just way too "advanced" for me.... I tried .... and tried....and failed to understand.

I appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

Thanks again!

I did a search on the Comodo forums and put "Tutorial" in the search box and it gave me 17 pages of various tutorials. From the specific to general. I'm sure you will find what you need.

I also did search in that forum. But i find that tutorial is not user friendly. Gives me a headache. Hope their tutorial is like the tutorial here in BC. But I will still read it. No choice. hehe..

Thanks.

I would want to see a tutorial that will teach you how set up a Home Network (two computers will be able to connected to Internet, share files, etc) in which expains the tools you need to buys, such as router, wireless adapter, etc, and how to connect them. More importantly, how to secure the router so no one can share your Internet connection, and avoid being hacked. I will be really appreciate if I can see this tutorial clapping.gif

Check this link: http://www.howstuffworks.com/ then in the search bar you can search for each component you ask about. Some even have videos to show you in more detail. A lot of great information there.
