How do I pick and choose photos which show up? Photos automatically show up some of which I dont want (because I share the cpu) and some I do.

If you are talking about the photos in the screen saver, have photos selected as the screen saver then click the settings button and you can see: Use pictures and videos from:

and it lets you browse to the folder. Put the photos you want in screen saver in that folder.
