Vista Home Premium Or Home Ultimate

is there that much of a difference between home premium and ultimate. the site claims that it will add support for duo cores how will it handle quad cores??? any help in this manner would be appreciated. any other differences between the 2. says it will unleash power something like that in the support for high end hardware.

I have Vista Ultimate with Intel Core2 Quad, 2400 MHz (4 CPUs) ... runs beautifully!
