So I have two routers,

1 set up for DHCP working just fine and 1 Set up as a Switch, no DHCP.

I often log into other pcs via their Netbios name, but this has ceased to work
after turning the second router into a switch. I can log in without issue when
I use the IP Addresses of machines behind that router/switch but that's it.

So now my question is, do I need to set up a hosts lists on all machines to
resolve DNS issues and make static Routes?

If it's possible, I'd like to keep DHCP running and allow the network devices
to somehow handle DNS resolution. Would I need to then force the adapters
to use DNS via the DHCP router?

I'm not faint of heart and I would appreciate some of the BC advisors
thoughts here.
