This might sound bad, but does anyone know how to open a standard Mac word document in Windows (vista)?

I can open the file, but all I see are just a bunch of unknown symbols...

The Mac word document was saved with Word 2003, and I open the document with Word 2007 (standard with vista)...
Anyone know what's wrong?

I've tried opening it with uni-code, western styles unicode..etc....but it just doesn't show up correctly.

Can you still open it on a Mac?

And does the file you're opening have an underscore in the name?
