Intervideo Dvd Fullscreen Problem DVDs won't playback in fullscreen

I can't get Intervideo's DVD software to play DVDs in fullscreen. When I choose fullscreen, I hear audio but the screen is black. I can blow up the picture to 200%; it's just fullscreen that doesn't work.
Any suggestions?
