Not sure if this is the correct forum;
When I go to 'my documents' and want to right click on something to get the menu it can take as long as a minute for that menu to appear. It always does appear, and seems to work fine once it does, but any thoughts on why it takes so long? It was not always this way.
I did have a keylogger some time ago but repeated scans show nothing now, although there are occasionally times when the keys do seem to behave oddly. I don't know if this could be related to the above.

Here's a guide to help troubleshoot Shell Menu (Right-click) problems:
Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers

thanks tg, looking at that page. registry I can do but it worries me that this may be a malware issue, that settings somehow were changed, as I said I did have a keylogger some time ago. I don't recall if this mouse issue started before that or after but I think after.
