When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix logs. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

The account was labeled 'Machine A' and had some other info after it, but I panicked & delted it before seeing the rest of the name.

I didn't create this account, so I'm guessing maybe I've been hacked, how can I find out and what do I do? This has me rather panicked! Thanks for any help.

If the account was called "ASP.NET Machine A" it was probably a user account created for the ASP.Net Worker Process (Aspnet_wp.exe) so that it is not running with administrator privileges. This helps to increase security because if there was a breach the worker process is running as a lowly restricted user rather than having administrator privileges on the local machine. You can remove this account, but it is required if you do asp.net development work or run a ASP.NET capable server that makes use of Microsoft's .NET runtime on your machine.

Ahh, yep I think that's exactly what it was.

Since I don't even know what asp.net is, I'm guessing I wouldn't have anything to do with it? (Unless it's something to do with setting up a home network as I'm trying to do that at the moment)

Thanks for the fast reply, it's a huge relief to know it's not anything bad! I was seriously freaked out when I saw it!
