just replaced my old pc with an hp 2.2 dual core; 3 gig ram; pny 8500 gt video card. on my previous computer i used dvi to hdmi to my plasma for video and a y splitter to rcas for audio, worked great. on new machine i get loud static coming out of tv speakers. switched inputs on tv, no help. hooked up rcas to surround sound and worked fine so drivers are good. but low and behold still get loud static with only hdmi plugged into tv. video card drivers are also up to date as of last night. i even hooked up old pc to test and IT still works fine. PLEASE help, im tired of muting tv every time i turn on pc.
