Hi lazlopitt,
Comodo firewall is active from when you turn the computer on. So you are protected, absolutely. As for the initializing you can stop it. Right click the tray icon, altering or even touching the Alert Level bar. This causes the mouse-over message to be corrected. This is a temporary fix. It may have some thing to do with Avast but not necessarily. Anyway Comodo says it will be fixed in the next version. -------------------- Can you spare some PC cycles to help FIND A CURE .. Hi, yup I noticed that too, also an increasing amount of Comodo not remembering my rules on everything from my AV to my OE, I finally got fed up and switched to Sygate, I don't know if it's as effective, but it remembers the rules and loads fast, when Comodo comes out with a new version i'll probably switch back, till then, I don't miss it.
