When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.


Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

Case Closed.... computer running 100%!!!! No issues and back to "like new" condition... for future reference The issue was that my Primary IDE was set to PIO mode rather then Ultra DMA Mode 5 (or 6). Apparently this can happen if the HDD experiences several errors in a given time frame, then it will switch to PIO mode...

I fixed the issue by uninstalling the Primary IDE in device manager and then rebooted the computer. Once the computer loaded back up, the "New hardware found" wizard came up and installed the Primary IDE once again followed by another restart... NOW the computer reboots itself in less then 20 seconds!!!!! If I then return to device manager and check out the settings, the Primary IDE is set to Ultra DMA mode 5..
