I built a computer for my dad. To help deter from my little brother getting viruses from certain sites I was wondering if there is a program to track internet sites visited and create a log or perhaps even a program that takes screenshots at every certain time interval. I will notify him of the programs, to further help deter him from visiting certain websites, so I was wondering if the program can create password protected logs so he can't go in and delete them. Right now he deletes history from IE so he knows how to do that already. Since we can't be monitoring his internet access 24/7 i'm not sure how well programs like net nanny work, let's say he is doing research for school and it accidently blocks a site that is ok and I will not be there to grant access, if that is even how those programs work. I was impressed with the AOL settings for minors and the features it had. But now we have DSL so he can just use IE and get around AOL's settings, so now I'm looking for a new type of program that works as described above and is free.

IEHistoryView

You may also want to consider using Parental Tools.

Ok thanks, those parental tools links seem to have some good programs.
