Microsoft C++ Run Time Error...how Do I Cure It?

I had installed SiteHound from FireTrust, but this did not install correctly. I reinstalled SiteHound successfully. I uninstalled it using Revo Uninstaller and I let it clean everything. After that Internet Explorer 7 pops up this message that it has encountered a Microsoft C++ runtime error and then it hangs, and sometimes shuts down. How do I fix this. I have Windows XP Home SP2 fully patched. Thanks

First let me say that I'm not a computer tech, I was experiencing a runtime error every time I opened Premiere Pro. I tried virus scans and various runtime fixes and nothing worked. I ran a program called Winsockfix.exe and the error has not appeared since. I am not saying this will fix your problem but it sure worked for me. If the Pros don't get to you give it a try. Just google it, Good Luck.

Thanks Spank6467 for your reply. I uninstalled Sitehound and the problem is gone. I guess my system did like it much. :thumbsup:
