BleepingComputer.com: Outlook Express Is Not Working Properly

I'm using Microsoft XP Home Edition, 1.7 gig processor, lots of RAM. Outlook Express 6 (Don't think my problem is hardware)
Couple of days ago while using Outlook Express I started getting some error messages. Couldn't see the details in any of the "boxes" i.e. Received, Sent, Deleted etc. I had to exit OE then open it again to make it work. Today, I can't get anything in OE to work. When I try to delete something, for example, I get a message "Some items can't be deleted". "An error has occurred" I can't received anything and no error message appears when I try. Looks like I'm just STUCK.
Hope someone out there can help me. I'm expecting some important email...

Never Mind......I used a backup disk that was working, cleaned up the email files, I'll keep better track of how many emails are in OE and hopefully it won't happen again.
