Hello, I'm trying to install QuickTime Alternative, but when it gets to the registering files part it freezes. Anyone know what might cause this?

The program does not work in Win 98. I assume that's what you have since this is the win 98 forum
OS requirements for Quicktime Alternative
If that is not the case, what version are you trying to install?

Quicktime 6.5 family was the last to work with 98 or ME
You can get it here

Even if it doesn't always do the job, the free VLC can also play many MOV / Quicktime files.

Bye!

I tried to install Quicktime Alternative on Vista and I had the same problem. It froze right when it gets to the registration.
