BleepingComputer.com: Problem Sending Email From Web Page Link

When I click on the icon on a company or organization's web page to create an email to the company/organization that uses my default email program (Outlook Express), it opens multiple copies of Internet Explorer that continue to open more as I close them. The only solution is to use Task Manager to close the original web site which then closes all of the other Internet Explorer screens. I thought one solution might be to remove Outlook Express as my default mailer and cannot find a way in IE to do that. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
