Its really hard to tell you if the motherboard has a variable voltage level. Your best bet is to look on the dells support site and they should give you the upgrade path for the processors. If its listed then your good to go

Thanks . I went there first . They only refer to standard chip upgrades. Or atleast that is all I can find . The machines I have , according to Dell , top out at P-III 500mhz with the A07 BIOS upgrade . A site called PowerLeap offers a product simular to theslocket , but it has it's own regulator that supercessed Dell's onboard . I keep looking Thank you for the advise . If I post a HJT scan could I get you to review it ?? If so I 'll tag it with you user name .
