How have you been infected? In other words you may have to look at what you are doing to keep your PC safer. I use AVG free and have never had a worm attack.

The 3 most common reasons for getting worms are:
1) Opening emails with viruses in them
2) Downloading and opening things from the internet (music, movies, etc)
3) Clicking on pop-ups (even on the X in the upper right corner)
So, how to avoid this:
1) Scan each and every email with an up to date antivirus program before opening the email
2) Scan each and every thing downloaded before opening/launching the file
3) Close popups by right clicking on it in the Task Bar at the bottom of the screen and select "Close" (also can close the active Window by pressing Alt and F4 simultaneously.
