Hi all,
my wife who is very heavily pregnant has just lost an important document which she was working on in Word. Have asked to explain what happened which is below:
Working in word using file stored on disgo
Might have clicked on save not sure
Message came up about checking disc was correctly inserted/installed
Pushed disgo in but already in correctly
May have carried on but message came up again
Noticed at bottom something about rescue document
Then box came up and I clicked on or other
Seemed to say creating recovery thing but cant remember what did
The file I was working on went and was no longer on disgo
File previously saved on disgo without problem
There is a temp file on the Disgo in the same file as the doc lost but we cannot open it. Is there any way of recovering the lost file? My wife is in absolute bits at present as she has lost several days work. Any help would be very gratefully received.
Regards,
Alan & Helen Samuels

Am I correct in assuming by Disgo, you mean CD disk? Do you get an error message when you try to open the temp file on the disk?
Congratulations on the pending arrival, by the way

I am going to guess that by 'Disgo', the member means a USB drive, such as seen here: http://www.mydisgo.com/shop/product_info_a...ategories_id=34
But lets have that confirmed, by the member, before proceeding.
And my congratulations on the pending arrival as well.

Why is the word abbreviation so long?
