I intend to reformat my computer with vista home basic to xp home. But i was not able to do it with the XP boot CD. It appear blue screen while in the step up after i apply F8 to accept the agreement for window XP. Also an error: The disc cannot not find on the specific drive. Is there another way that i could reformat my Vista computer to XP??

Hi

Windows XP Installer must have the appropriate SATA driver to see your HDD.
You must give this driver with press key F6 at beginning of your installation.

Check the BIOS settings and if you are using a SATA HDD see if you can use an IDE-emulation setting. Vista has native supprot for AHCI but XP doesnt.
