Have been looking at the possibility of using refils instead of paying rip-off prices for printer inks. Anyone have any experience of using them? Would welcome any comments concerning refills. Thanks all

The fine print of your warranty, generally states using non OEM ink voids any warranty implied. Also often using refills will sometimes disable print/printer features within your printers software functionality. So take those things into consideration and weigh them against cost savings. Is the risk worth it? Only you know that answer. This is not it say that using refills always disables printer functionality, but it has been documented.

***Just as a side note I can buy a new printer w/color ink (nothing fancy) cheaper than I can buy a new black ink cartridge
