Is Anyone aware of some sort of amazing software that will repair a cd-rom? I have a CD full of software and mp3's,Family photos etc.. The Cd will not play. When I click the properties on the CD it tells Me that the CD has 0 free space and 0 total space.Any Ideas?

Have you tried reading the disc using Windows Explorer? That should tell you if there is any readable data on the CD.

If it's got your personal stuff on it it must be a CD-RW not a CD-ROM? Did you test it after recording stuff on it or did you just assume that the recording had worked? I have had one or two similar experiences using the Adaptec burner. What burner did you use? CD-RWs can get corrupted - perhaps being badly stored near electromagnetics or perhaps a sub-standard flawed disc you bought? Does your burner have no 'disc repair' facility?
