Msoffice 2000 Upgrading To 2003

i'm currently using MSOffice 2000 and want to upgrade it to MSOffice 2003 but i'm scared that my files would be deleted. are those really gonna be deleted? or will it be retained?

and another one.. my cousin has the latest version of MSOffice installed to her laptop but she wants to downgrade (hope that's the term for that) it to 2003.. is her files gonne be deleted as well? or retained? thanks

By "files" I assume you mean things like Word and Excel files. If these are stored under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office then they may be deleted. If they are stored somewhere else, such as C:\My Documents then they should be okay.

But it shouldn't be a problem if they get deleted because you have a backup of all your important documents anyway, don't you? :thumbsup:
