Help

I cick on the windows media player icon and I see the hour class come up, but then the hour glass go away. There is no error wor warning message. It just doens't load. I tried downloading it again but I got a message saying I need to remove the old one first. But How can I do that?? I didn't see it in add/remove programs. What can I do? Is there another program like it that can play music and videos?

Have you tried System Restore to fix the problem? This is an invaluable tool. Using it will not result in any loss of personal data and they can be undone if not helpful.
In Vista "System Restore" is accessible from the Start Menu. When it opens you can select NEXT > and choose a date prior to the problem. You may need to check the box to show restore points older than 5 days. If you choose not to keep the restore, run it again and select the "undo" option
As for using another application to play Audio/Visual files, I would recommend:

May be there is a problem with your vedio card , in other words it is not sufficient to apply vista styles
