BleepingComputer.com: How To Convert .iso Movie File For Viewing On Dvd Player?

I recently downloaded an instructional video that came in 5 separate zip files. When I unzipped them they combined into a single 3.9 Gig .iso file which is supposed to be an all region compatible version of the video, but my DVD player does not recognize this format and won't play it. There is NO encrypting, code cracking, etc. going on here. It's just an instructional video available for free download on the web.

What do I have to do to convert this .iso file to one that a standar DVD player can recognize and play. If I need software to convert it, is there any available for free or on trial that will do this? I don't want to buy anything because I don't anticipate needing to do this again.

I'd appreciate your expert help on this! Thanks!

An iso file is an image file: You must use a program such as nero to burn the file to dvd.

nero, sonic and many others will burn an iso for you

my favorite is ImgBurn, freeware and quite powerful and won't mess up your system

Thanks so much for your replies. Perhaps I'm missing something or not making myself clear. My problem is NOT burning the .iso file to a DVD. I've already done that using Sonic which is how I know that format will NOT play on a DVD player. The problem is I need to be able to play it on a DVD player. Specifically what do I need to do with the .iso file to make it playable on a DVD player and how do I do it? Is there some particulatr format it needs to be convereted to, etc.? I have no idea and am totally clueless, that's why I'm here. Thanks again!

When you burn the iso, it creates a dvd with the exact information that the original had. Are you telling sonic that you are burning an image file or are you just copying the .iso to the dvd?

Just burning the .iso will not work.
You have to burn an "image", of the .iso.

with nero I just tell it to burn an iso, not a data dvd

sonic would do it, but they don't have guides and I wouldn't have it on my computer(with their history and all)
