The Symbian OS on your phone supports C++ according to here. The most likely compiler to work for free is gcc which located here

You can build gcc as a cross-compiler but you need the libraries for symbian to compile/link.

Good Luck.

Sounds like this is actually running on your phone???

I'm not sure that I like that idea. I'd rather build on my PC and upload to my phone to test.

Sorry for waking up the dead thread.

But I would like to share my experience here.

@gaming freakz

I hope my experience in writing, compiling, executing and also debugging C/C++ programs on Nokia N97 Mini serves your need.

Please have a look at the below thread.
